Something powerful happens when we take bold action that’s aligned with the deep truth of who we are.
That aligned action becomes a sweet and clear demonstration to the infinite intelligence that breathes us, saying, “I’m ready and open to receive the more that ignites my heart.”
This past week, I experienced something that reorganized me from the inside out.
Now, this is going to sound like a really insignificant example.
But that’s kind of the point! It’s often in the little, seemingly insignificant, repeated patterns in our lives that the biggest opportunities for transformation occur.
Here’s what happened.
During a powerful coaching training, I was paired with another coach to practice coaching each other with some new material.
Fear came up in me. I noticed myself feeling anxious about making a mistake and focussing on trying to do the exercise “right.”
I wanted to ensure I could be of service, so I began “cramming” the new information into my brain, so I could know what I was doing, before we started.
Have you ever felt like you have to know every detail before you begin something new?
Full transparency, beneath my desire to serve was a familiar, old fear — the belief thatI had to do it just right in order to feel skilled enough to offer the value that would serve the other person.
The thought was, “I have to know all the information so I can do it right.”
And then something unexpected happened.
In the very moment I reached for my notes, I felt a distinct energy. It wasn’t a thought — it was an experience. A distinct, energetic pause washed through my nervous system like a breeze from the Divine.
The message was unmistakable: You don’t have to figure this out on your own. Trust. I’ll lead you in this.
It was as if the Infinite whispered, “You’ll know what you need to know in the moment. Not before. Not after. Trust.”
WILD!
So I did.
I set the notes down. I tuned in to my inner wisdom and listened. And I was guided to exactly the right question for my partner — one that opened something profound in her.
In that moment, transformation unfolded for both of us. I was not alone. I never was.
It turns out that it wasn’t about “doing it right.” It was about allowing the infinite wisdom that’s always available when I stop trying to figure it all out by myself.
That moment shifted something deep in me. A dominant pattern of self-doubt gave way to a grounded confidence. It wasn’t ego. It was peace.
I felt supported, limitless, unscripted. I felt in the presence of God, as if I’d come face to face with my true Self.
Intellectually, I’ve known this for a long time, and now I know in my bones: I am more than any perceived limitation. And so are you.
This experience reminded me that worry and doubt thrive when we’re imagining a scary future, or obsessing on a past failure.
Inner wisdom can only be accessed in this “now” moment. Trust happens in the “now” moment.
Why this matters to you and me is:
When we trust our inner wisdom — when we act in alignment with our soul’s agenda, (instead of relying on “push” and “make it happen” energy) — we open the door to a greater intelligence that’s always been with us.
You don’t have to do it alone. You were never meant to.
Let your life be a co-creation. Trust the timing of limitless inner wisdom.
And let love lead.
