There are moments in life when something you learned months earlier returns with a richer meaning, almost as if life is saying, look again, there is more here for you. 

That happened for me recently, and it brought me back to a conversation I shared in an earlier blog. 

I had been feeling torn between wanting to focus on the aliveness of my dream home vision, and the sense that I “should” be focusing more on my business. 

I remember the heaviness of that inner conflict, because one part of me felt inspired and lifted by this dream, while another part wondered if choosing it meant I was neglecting something else that mattered.

As I noticed the guilt that kept showing up around not pouring all of my energy into building my work, I remembered something simple that became a turning point:

Notice what feels expansive and follow it. 

When my coach first mentioned this to me a few months ago, I did not yet understand how deeply true it was or how far-reaching it would become in the months that followed.

What I know now is that when you let the breadcrumbs of expansion lead you in your decisions and actions, it doesn’t just feel good in the moment.

Expansion amplifies an array of high-vibration frequencies which energizes the rest of your life without you having to force anything. 

When you follow the spark that lights you up, you elevate your entire vibration, and that elevated state naturally infuses every aspect of your life. 

Life begins to organize itself around the aliveness you are choosing.

For me, it unfolded in ways I could not have predicted. As I leaned into the dream that felt the most alive, areas of my life that I was not even consciously working on began to shift in beautiful ways. 

• My relationship with my husband deepened in ways that felt effortless and organic. 

• The impending move to our new home placed us in a healthier and more spacious financial position than I’d imagined possible. 

• My daughter found independence, friendship, and a rhythm in her days that brought her joy and stability. 

These were not areas I was trying to fix. 

They blossomed because I poured my energy into the one place that held the most joy, and the energy of expansion touched everything else.

This is what I want you to know. When you focus on the area of your life that frees your Soul as you think about it, you are not neglecting the other important areas. You are lifting them. 

When you follow the idea you are in love with, when you allow yourself to lean into what feels alive, your entire system rises into a higher state of alignment. 

From that elevated place, other parts of your vision begin to move, open, and harmonize, even without your direct attention.

So I want to invite you to pause and notice where you feel expansion today.

Notice the ideas or desires that make your energy rise. 

Notice the places in your life where you feel that sense of aliveness, even if it comes with uncertainty or requires you to stretch. 

And notice the places where you may be pushing yourself out of habit or obligation. 

What if the one area that feels expansive is actually the doorway to everything else you want? What if following that which feels expansive is how life shows you that you don’t have to do it all, you only have to honor what feels true?

You do not have to strategize every outcome, control every step, scrutinize every detail. You do not have to push your way into clarity. 

You do not have to earn your joy by “efforting” your way toward it. Each of us is already fully deserving, just as we are.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is give your attention to what you genuinely love and trust the aliveness of that choice. Expansion is not linear. It is not logical. It is not contained. 

Expansion elevates you, and when you rise, everything connected to you rises with you, because possibilities are literally infinite. 

And the amplified joy in you makes welcome all those possible futures you would love.

Follow what feels expansive. Trust what feels alive. 

You may find that you are getting where you intended to go anyway, only in a way that is more beautiful, more aligned, and more supportive than anything you could have orchestrated on your own.
